Round Pendant Necklace with Gold
(מתעדכן אוטומטית בקופה)
Cratered silver, cool to the touch - split by a single vein of 18kt gold that catches light like a fault line in dark stone.
Enri Mars works from a small atelier in Imola, Italy, where lost-wax casting is still practiced as it was generations ago. This round pendant begins as a wax form, hand-sculpted with deliberate imperfections - craters, ridges, rough valleys - before being transformed into solid sterling silver through fire and centrifugal force. The result is a disc that feels less like jewelry and more like a fragment of geological time: heavy in the palm, rough under the thumb, shaped by forces older than fashion.
The gold vein is the signature gesture. An organic seam of 18kt gold runs through the oxidized surface like a mineral deposit exposed by erosion - or like the golden lacquer in Japanese Kintsugi, where fractures become the most beautiful part of the object. No two veins fall the same way. Each pendant carries its own map of imperfection, suspended from a 60 cm oxidized silver chain whose dark patina deepens the sense of something unearthed rather than manufactured. This is wabi-sabi philosophy rendered in precious metal: the belief that wear, age, and disruption are not flaws to hide but stories to honor.
