Enri Mars forges identity into metal. In his Imola atelier, where lost-wax casting still follows the slow rituals of Italian metalsmithing tradition, this chain necklace was born from fire and centrifugal force -- sterling silver poured molten into a form that was destroyed in the making. The ID plate at its center is not engraved. It is excavated. The surface carries deep, volcanic craters hand-worked into the silver, each pit and ridge unique to this single piece, as though tectonic pressure shaped the metal over millennia rather than hours. Run your thumb across it: you feel the geography of a landscape that exists nowhere else.

A seam of black diamonds cuts across the plate like a mineral vein exposed by erosion -- dark stones set organically into a fissure in the silver, not mounted above it but embedded within, as though the diamonds were always there, waiting to be uncovered. This is Kintsugi in reverse: where the Japanese tradition fills fractures with gold to honor imperfection, Enri Mars fills them with darkness. The black diamonds do not sparkle. They absorb. Against the oxidized silver -- cool and heavy at the collarbone, settling with the deliberate weight of solid precious metal -- they become a line of shadow that anchors the eye and holds it.

Fifty-five centimeters of curb chain, each link hand-finished with the same oxidized patina that deepens in the crevices and lightens on the ridges. The chain has weight you feel before you see.
