The fabric is a fine-gauge Italian stretch jersey - smooth, cool to the touch, dense enough to hold its shape flat against the body without pulling. The neckline, armholes, and hem are cut raw. No binding, no topstitch, no ribbed trim. The jersey's own density holds the edges clean. The silhouette is elongated so the tank can sit tucked into a waistband without pulling short when you move. Fit is close but quiet - second-skin in the engineering sense, where the fabric absorbs the shape of the body rather than compressing it. In direct light the surface carries a very soft sheen from the polyamide content, then reads back to flat black from any other angle.
