Curb Chain Bracelet with Gold Accent
Every link announces itself. The low, deliberate clink of oxidized silver shifting against the wrist - heavy, unhurried, certain.
Enri Mars built the Caesar Bracelet around the oldest form in chain jewelry: the curb link. But where industrial production flattens these links into uniform repetition, here each one is hand-sculpted in his Imola workshop using lost-wax casting, then worked by hand until no two surfaces match. The result is a chain that feels geological - as though each link was shaped by pressure and time rather than tools. Deep oxidation settles into every crevice and scratch mark, darkening the sterling silver to a tone that recalls tarnished relics pulled from the earth.
At the center sits a single link cast in 9kt gold. It does not shout. It interrupts - a warm, living vein running through cool, eroded silver. This is Kintsugi logic applied to chain: the break in pattern becomes the most valuable element, the fracture filled with gold. The contrast is both visual and tactile; where the oxidized silver feels rough and cratered beneath the fingers, the gold link carries a subtle warmth and smoother finish that draws the hand back to it again and again.
Secured by a robust lobster clasp, the Caesar sits flat against the wrist with the kind of grounding weight that only solid precious metal delivers. This is not decoration. It is a daily ritual object - one that darkens and evolves with wear, developing a patina that belongs only to you.
