The H42 BB is one of KUBORAUM's most architectural masks. The metal bridge between the lenses is articulated - small linked components visible at the centre - and the temple ends carry the same mechanical detailing rendered in matched gunmetal. The round lenses sit rimless, attached to the metal frame at the top and held by the bridge below; the lower edge of each lens is exposed.
Lens width thirty-eight millimetres, bridge twenty-nine - the bridge is nearly as wide as the lens height, a proportional inversion that holds the small rounds at deliberate distance. Acetate at the very tips of the temples for ear contact; the rest is metal. Grey lenses. This is a frame for wearers who want their eyewear to read as a constructed object - the mechanical detail is the entire argument.
